How texting your calendar and sheets actually works
You connect your Google account to Sonic once, right inside WhatsApp. From then on, you just write what you want the way you'd tell a colleague. "Move my 2pm to tomorrow morning" reshuffles the event and sends the update. "What's on Friday?" reads your calendar back to you in plain text. No menus, no scrolling, no hunting for the right button.
Spreadsheets work the same way. Say you keep a Google Sheet for client hours, expenses or rent collection. You text "Add 350 for the electric bill to the April expenses" and Sonic finds the sheet, drops in the row and confirms. Ask "What did we spend last month?" and it reads the total straight back. The sheet stays the single source of truth, you just stop opening it by hand.
Docs are handy for the running notes you never get around to writing up. After a call you can text "Add to the client doc: they want the proposal split into two phases," and the line is there when you open it later. Everything you delegate lands in the Google tools you already trust, so nothing lives in yet another place you have to remember to check.
The point isn't clever AI. It's that the admin comes off your plate. You handle the thinking, Sonic handles the typing, the clicking and the tab-switching. It runs entirely in a normal WhatsApp chat, so there's nothing new to learn and nothing extra to install.
Questions before you connect
Do I need to install anything?
No. Sonic lives inside WhatsApp, the app you already have. You connect your Google account once through a secure sign-in, then everything happens by texting. There's no separate app, no browser dashboard and no new login to remember.
Which Google tools does it work with?
Google Calendar, Google Sheets and Google Docs. You can create and move calendar events, add or read rows in your spreadsheets, and append notes to your documents, all by sending a normal message. Sonic works with the files and calendars already in your account.
What if I phrase something loosely?
That's the whole idea. You write the way you'd tell an assistant: "Push my dentist appointment to next week" or "Add a line to the budget sheet." If a detail is missing, Sonic asks a quick follow-up in the chat before it changes anything.
Can it read my calendar back to me?
Yes. Ask "What's on tomorrow?" or "When am I free this week?" and Sonic replies right in the chat with your schedule. You can check your day, find an open slot or confirm a meeting without ever opening the Calendar app.
Is my Google data safe?
Sonic only touches the calendars, sheets and docs you connect, and only when you ask it to do something. You stay in control of what it can reach through your Google account, and you can disconnect it at any time. Nothing happens without your message.
