Is Grok Bot available in my country?

Probably, but nobody can promise you that from a list, because there isn't one. As of September 29, 2026, SpaceXAI hasn't published a country list or any regional restrictions for Grok Bot. Access is tied to your subscription, not to a named set of countries.

Here's how access works. Grok Bot has no standalone subscription and isn't on free Grok. You get it through an eligible paid plan: SuperGrok ($30 a month), SuperGrok Plus ($100), SuperGrok Heavy ($300), Cursor Pro ($20), Cursor Pro+ ($60), Cursor Ultra ($200) or Cursor Teams Premium ($120 per seat). Since August 26, 2026, that includes every SuperGrok and Cursor Pro subscriber. So the practical question is simple: can you hold one of those plans where you live, and does Grok Bot appear once you do?

That's a different situation from its two biggest rivals. OpenAI published clear exclusions for dots on day one, and Meta Muse works in exactly two countries. With Grok Bot, the honest answer is "no published restriction, so it depends on your plan". Anyone who tells you Grok Bot is "US-only" or "blocked in Europe" is going further than SpaceXAI has.

Grok Bot vs dots vs Muse: which countries can use which?

Grok Bot is the only one of the three big cloud agents with no published regional restriction. Dots on ChatGPT Pro skip Europe and the UK, Muse sticks to North America, and ChatGPT's WhatsApp chat only works in the European Economic Area.

The table below covers the markets our readers ask about most. For Grok Bot, every row says the same thing, because that's what SpaceXAI has published: nothing country-specific. For dots, the split is about which plan you're on: ChatGPT Pro users are excluded from the EEA (the EU27 plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), Switzerland and the UK at launch, while Business Premium gets dots in all supported ChatGPT regions, including Europe and the UK.

The WhatsApp column is the ironic one. After Meta changed its WhatsApp Business API terms on January 15, 2026, OpenAI shut its WhatsApp assistant down. It came back on July 13, 2026, but only in the EEA, after an EU antitrust order against Meta. So in Europe you can chat with ChatGPT on WhatsApp but can't get a dot on Pro, and in the US it's the other way round.

How do I check if Grok Bot works where I live?

Check inside the app before you pay for anything. Because there's no public country list, your account's plan page is the most reliable source you have.

Start with what you already own. If you pay for Cursor Pro, Pro+, Ultra or Teams Premium, or any SuperGrok tier, open the Grok or Cursor app and look for Grok Bot. If it's there, you're in. If you're on Cursor Teams Standard ($40 per seat), expect only the trial or on-demand usage rather than a regular allowance. Free Grok doesn't include Grok Bot anywhere.

If you don't subscribe yet, look at the plan screen before checking out and confirm Grok Bot is listed for your account. Can I use Grok Bot in the UK and Europe?

SpaceXAI hasn't published any restriction for the UK or Europe, so Grok Bot should be open to you if you can hold an eligible plan there. On paper, that makes it the easiest of the big three agents for European individuals to get right now.

Compare that with OpenAI. ChatGPT Pro users in the EEA, Switzerland and the UK can't get a dot at launch, and OpenAI hasn't given a timeline. The workaround is Business Premium ($100 per seat billed annually, or $125 monthly), which does include dots in Europe and the UK. Two European practicalities for Grok Bot. First, it requires cloud data storage: your Bot works on a persistent cloud computer, and it isn't compatible with Cursor's Legacy Privacy Mode. If your company relies on that mode, check with whoever manages your Cursor account before switching it off. Second, Bots sign into your accounts with your real logins. If your employer has rules about which tools can access work email or client data, those rules apply here too.

And if the thing you really wanted was an assistant in WhatsApp, Europe is the one place ChatGPT's WhatsApp chat is back. Grok Bot doesn't offer that anywhere.

What about India, Pakistan, the UAE and Israel?

Same answer: SpaceXAI hasn't published restrictions for any of these countries, so access depends on your plan. Readers here are in a better spot for agents than Europeans on one front, because OpenAI's dots are also rolling out to Pro users in India, Pakistan, the UAE and Israel. Meta Muse, again, isn't available in any of them.

Price is the bigger question in these markets. Even at the new $20 entry point, Grok Bot is priced in US dollars, and the monthly fee isn't the ceiling once on-demand usage kicks in. For a freelancer in Lahore or a shop owner in Pune, $240 a year for Cursor Pro, or $360 for SuperGrok, is a real decision, not a rounding error.

Language matters too, especially in Israel and the Gulf. SpaceXAI hasn't published a list of languages Grok Bot supports, so we won't guess. If you need it to work in Hebrew, Arabic, Urdu or Hindi, use the one-time trial to test it on your own real tasks before paying for a month.

Then there's the channel. In all four countries, WhatsApp is where business actually happens: clients, suppliers, the building committee, the kids' football group. Grok Bot lives in its own desktop and phone apps and has no WhatsApp channel. ChatGPT on WhatsApp isn't available in these countries either, and has no announced return date.
