Step by step
- Open your private chat with Sonic on WhatsApp and send
/google connect. - Tap the link Sonic sends and sign in with the Google account you want to use.
- If Google says it hasn't verified the app yet, tap “Advanced”, then continue to the app.
- Review the permissions — Calendar, Sheets, Docs and Forms — and tap “Allow”.
- Go back to the chat: Sonic confirms the connection. Send
/googleany time to check it.
What Sonic can do
- Calendar: see your events and free time, and create, reschedule or delete events.
- Sheets: read and update cells, append rows, clear ranges, and create or copy spreadsheets.
- Docs: read a document, create a new one, and edit its text, formatting and tables.
- Forms: create a form, add, edit or reorder questions and sections, and read the responses.
- Before writing anything, Sonic restates the change and waits for your OK.
What it can't do (yet)
- Browse or search your Google Drive. Sonic can't list your files — send it the link to the specific spreadsheet, document or form you mean (new ones it creates itself).
- Open a form from its public link. Forms need the edit link (…/forms/d/…/edit); a “viewform” or forms.gle link won't work.
- Gmail. Email is a separate connection with a Google app password (see “Connect Gmail to WhatsApp”).
- Use Sheets, Docs or Forms in WhatsApp groups. They stay in your private chat, but your calendar can be shared with a group (see “Share a Google Calendar with your WhatsApp group”).
- Run on the free trial — Google is included in the Basic and Pro plans.

Questions
Can Sonic see all my Google Drive files?
No. Sonic can't list or search your Drive. It opens a spreadsheet, document or form only when you send its link, and it can create new ones for you.
Will Sonic change my calendar or files without asking?
No. Before it creates, edits or deletes anything, Sonic restates the change and waits for you to confirm.
Is my Google data stored?
Sonic keeps only an encrypted access token. Your calendar, sheets, docs and forms are read when you ask, and aren't kept beyond answering you.
How do I disconnect Google?
Send /google disconnect in your private chat with Sonic — the stored access is deleted right away. You can also remove the app from your Google Account's third-party access settings.
